Description of Energy Suspension 3 1108R TRANSMISSION MOUNT

High quality. High performance. Professional products. Hyper-Flex replacement polyurethane components stand up well to contaminants that often destroy rubber and have been engineered to give longer-lasting performance and not compress permanently.

Works great, high quality

Perfect as a replacement engine mount for my Toyota 22RE pickup. High quality polyurethane, durable screws, what more could you ask for?

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Operating speed

Fits perfectly on my '93 Chevy Suburban

Fits on my '93 Chevy Suburban, it fits great, the only problem is the center bracket is about a half inch away from the center bracket on the actual car, except this transmission. stable

Cons

Good work. Best Replacement Parts

Perfect for my 1994 c1500 Vortec v6 single can. The bolts that came with it to connect to the truck were too big so I had to reuse the old bolts and luckily the old bolts worked great. Good buy and looks good if that's your thing.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Can't remember

Good mount, though. for Transmission Bracket

I like the bracket but there is a problem. One of the screw holes in the bracket is not tightened. He doesn't undress, he just wraps himself up. I only have one screw holding the bracket to the cross member, but that's more than before as my old bracket broke in two.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Slightly Cracked

Looks like a good hold

Looks like a good hold. I'm currently removing the engine so haven't really been able to test the mount, but so far my only complaint is that the bolts were too big to go through my cross member. This is for an '84 Camaro with a T5, I had to take a slightly larger piece and enlarge the hole in the cross member.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some problems

1997 Camaro RS with automatic transmission. Need a glitch. Works perfectly.

I have a 1997 Camaro RS Automatic. I installed this myself, but a spacer is required to maintain the same height (and driveshaft angle) as the original bracket. Some people put washers under the bracket. I had the mechanic turn the custom washer on the lathe to fit under the bracket. I think it would be better to put plates over the bracket or get a special block over the bracket but I'm not sure. The car rumbles a lot more, especially at idle and at high revs in third gear. It doesn't really…

No more slamming on the best in gearing and gearboxes

I bought this for my 95 Firebird Formula which I believe had a partially torn gearbox mount causing a loud bang through the derailleur than - either higher than the acceleration ratings of the old women. After removing the old block, I found that the standard block was not partially torn, it was completely torn. Now I can drive and not have to worry about my transmission exploding when I turn onto a busy street. It transmits a little more vibration, but that's to be expected. Because it is a…
