3rd time charm for engines and engine parts

Assembled a strong V8 for my old S-10. After ripping the factory rubber and even the HD rubber, the Ben grips great and holds up well through my axle flex burnouts on the strip.

Pros
  • Professional products
Cons
  • Dumped

Quality Bracket - Engine Mounts

Fits '87 Chevy K10 like a glove, looks very high quality. Be sure to use the cable ties provided and tighten them! otherwise, getting the screws back is a nightmare.

Pros
  • Vehicle Specific
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Always ready for upgrades

Motor mounts from China can't handle horsepower (steel mounts fell apart and bent) Energy suspension parts are nice, fit well and attach easily to the motor. More vibration but actually NVH (Hot Truck - No Radio) is expected in this app. I raised the motor about 1 inch, no problem, I recommend.

Pros
  • High quality
Cons
  • No insurance

Looks nice but don't hold on.

Seems like a decent product until I put the motor back in. The tongues buckled under the LS3's weight, and the bracket detached and dangled in the GM clamshells. When they were taken out of the car, the polyurethane material broke and wore out, rendering them unusable. I replaced them with an anchor frame mount kit and the motor came up with no problems. Probably just a bad set I got but I would never spend money to try them again. It was a huge waste of time on my build.

Pros
  • High performance
Cons
  • No paint needed
