Description of Enhanced Performance 4.3 Motor Mount for GM by Energy Suspension 3.1141R

Durability is superior for cars, trucks and SUVs; road salt, oil, and a host of other common under car contaminants will eventually destroy the rubber bushings on your vehicles, not to mention the weight and torque forces that typically compress rubber. Hyper-Flex replacement polyurethane components stand up well to contaminants that often destroy rubber and have been engineered to give longer-lasting performance and not compress permanently. Hyper-Flex is offered in a variety of durometers (firmness or softness), depending on product application; performance tested and race proven; used for all of Energy Suspension products that require a higher level of performance and durability. If you are modifying, building a new vehicle for scratch or restoring an old one, Energy Suspension's Hyper-Flex performance polyurethane should be the 'ground zero' focus of your present and next vehicle plans. Over two decades of in-house experience in innovating, engineering and formulating wide selection of polyurethane components for many different industries, Energy Suspension has qualified as premier manufacturer of the high quality polyurethane products.

GREAT BRACKET - Engine mounts

Good fit. Built to last! Urethane is oil resistant and durable. Looks cool too. They must be made for Oldsmobile engines.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Good fit better than rubber

Perfect for my 93 S10 pickup! They don't generate as much vibration as a stock mount, but this is also an old truck, not a 2015 Silverado! Will definitely put them back in the truck if needed!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Great motor mount for GM 4

Great motor mount for GM 4.3 Iron Duke. You won't want to do this repair more than once in your lifetime. So use the Energy Suspension mounts. If you have a red car or your girlfriend loves red, you know what to do!

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • No instructions

Engine mount in engine mount

received a lot, they even came a week faster than promised. And almost $20 cheaper. I had the correct picture of these engine mounts here, but they were removed for some reason, they are red instead of black and they look different. I've posted another correct picture of these engine mounts!

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Updates

Worth the extra $

Perfect fit, exactly as described, high quality durable part. I'm not sure why I didn't use them the first time. The cheap ones I got from China last time for $12 broke in less than a month. As always, I got what I paid for. Spend the extra money and get quality parts to get the job done right. And this is one of them.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Best quality in engine mounts

4 stars because they are very difficult to fit. The holes fit without play. This is a problem on a 29 year old truck as little clearance is required for installation. The back holes matched, so I installed the screws in the back instead of the front. And swearing a lot, and the man fiddled with the motor until I could hammer in the bolt. No big deal, the truck won't notice the difference in screw orientation. I will update in about a year.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Clean

BIG! Motor Mounts Energy Suspension 4.3 Early

They were very easy to fit especially if you are a gearbox, the original factory mounts sagged a lot over the years and were a pain to get out. I had to cut the rubber off the old mounts with a long, sturdy, sharp knife (all I had at the time) just to get to the screws took a while, but it was as easy as it gets. mount, the oil pan used to sit on the cross member and is now at least 2.5 cm above it. They're tough but not bad, if it was a cadillac or a lincoln I probably wouldn't use this guy…

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • Good mostly but...
