Direct fit, works well.

The leash installation wasn't as easy as I had hoped, but the product installed like a local without any mods. CEL is here now!

Gas caps are worth it

Comes with cable and fits my 2008 Honda CR-V perfectly. It took me a while to figure out how to remove the old cable, but another reviewer's photos helped a lot. It was definitely a worthwhile purchase.

It's okay though. on gas cap

My dash keeps blinking, check gas cap. This happens within a few kilometers after each refueling process. I wasn't sure if it was a gas cap problem or something but when I went to my mechanic he said my gas cap was loose. I twist it to click 4-5 times just to make sure it's tight, but I'm still having the same problem. I think I'll have to buy another gas cap from the parts store that costs twice as much. An important cheap part is missing - why?

There is nothing wrong with a gas cap. The problem is that it's missing a key element. A cable attached to the fuel cap is connected to the fuel cap flap. To make this work, there is a small round piece at the end of the tether that fits inside the door. This piece is held in place by a tiny piece of plastic that fits inside the door. Without them, you cannot connect the cable to the door. The replacement cover does not come with this tiny vital part. This is a small piece of plastic that…
