Perfect for giving a feeling of independence while snorkeling

Bought two of the 2.5 length ones and they were perfect for my 5 and 7 year old nieces who came to visit me in SW Florida. I bought them to use specifically while snorkeling. They allowed my nieces to feel like they had a sense a freedom while giving us a better feeling of safety that they wouldn't be pulled too far away that we'd have difficulty getting to them in the event we needed to. When snorkeling, it can also be easy drift further away from the rest of your party because your head is…

Pros
  • I like these, I just wished the cord was a little longer.
Cons
  • I don’t know if my toddler is just large but they’re almost too small for my 3 year old

Works Better Than a Back Pack Leash

This wrist leash worked great. My grandson is 5 and is autistic so has tendency to take off on his own. We took him to the zoo and his excitement was overwhelming, so he kept trying to run through the crowds to get to the animals. This wrist band gave him enough tension to stop, but did not pull him backward like a backpack leash would. I am very happy with the product as it "helped GRANDMA not to get lost".

Pros
  • Safety
Cons
  • It may cause anxiety or stress for both the child and adult

Comfort, Easy, WORKS!

My son is definitely a runner lol when he lets go of our hand he immediately will start running. We tried the leash backpacks and he HATED it and would freak out. We got this in hopes it would help because its hard to take him anywhere when he runs and then throws a fit when you catch him. He LOVES THIS! He doesn’t throw a fit while wearing it and we can walk through everywhere and him have a great time!

Pros
  • Ideal for parents of adventurous toddlers and young children
Cons
  • The wrist link may become tangled or twisted during use, causing frustration and discomfort

My Toddler Doesn't Mind Wearing It

Was kind of hesitant about getting something like this but my toddler likes to bolt. I mainly use it when I'm in very crowded areas where he could get lost. It gives him the ability to walk around with us and look at everything and not be stuck to a stroller. He doesn't mind wearing it and It's not uncomfortable.

Pros
  • Recommended by child safety experts and parents around the world
Cons
  • It may be difficult to find a wrist link that fits securely on smaller or larger children

AUTISTIC MOTHERS DREAM COME TRUE

I am so excited to write this review in the hopes of helping at least 1 mother who has autistic children or runners. I so did not want to get one of these but I am a single mother of autistic twins. My boy is a runner and screams in the stroller. It is a NIGHTMARE alone. My girl twin doesn't run and is more of the stand still collecting sticks type. She can't enjoy herself because I have to constantly grab her and run for my boy twin. I couldn't keep both happy so this little gadget was heaven…

Pros
  • Perfect for use in airports, malls, theme parks, and other crowded areas
Cons
  • The wrist link may be incompatible with certain lifestyles, such as frequent travel or outdoor activities

Great for traveling

Love this for my 2 yr old Grandson that is on the autism spectrum,it allows him be independent and walk, but helps make him stay close by since he likes to run away. He outgrew the straps on the backpacks with harnesses.I only give it 4 stars cause the strap for him is a bit small,im afraid he'll outgrow it very soon.

Pros
  • Perfect for parents who want to give their child more freedom while still ensuring their safety
Cons
  • The wrist link may be prone to snagging on objects or furniture

Buyyyyyy it! - my new review

This was hands down the best thing I bought for our beach trip! My one year old go the freedom of running the beach without the stress of chasing her down!

Pros
  • Prevents your child from running off suddenly and unexpectedly
Cons
  • It may be difficult to explain the purpose and function of the wrist link to other adults or caregivers

Safety and comfort for my opinion

Love this product. It is our second purchase, so that my daughter and I both have one. Super comfortable! My grandson is just 18m and much faster than me. He will even go get it and tries to put it on himself, so he can go out to play. Appears well made, perfect length to give him the illusion of independence, while keeping him safe nearby.

Pros
  • My kid don’t mind having it on, easy to use
Cons
  • The wrist link can be easily tampered with or removed by a determined child

Worth every penny! for my opinion

Love this product. The padding keeps the velcro off your skin and it stretches farther then I expected without causing any discomfort.

Pros
  • We’ve used this with our two year old at the store. It works good so far!
Cons
  • Using a wrist link could raise concerns about privacy and surveillance

Not as good as the original fisher price

When our kids were young fisher price made some of these and they were great. I ordered these for my grandson but when they arrived I was disappointed because the springy cord is much thicker and the Velcro straps are not very soft. Although I do love the idea of these because it let your toddler/ Young c
