Such a cool gadget and it really works! A very easy way to remove the pits from cherries. I got this so I can feed my little one cherries without worrying about him choking. You place the cherries in the round groove, push them down and voila, the pits fall out! Sometimes they don't come out all the way so you have to pull them out by hand, but that's no big deal. Highly recommended!

SIMPLY THE BEST CAP I HAVE EVER USED. The BEST part is that it makes 6 cherries or 6 olives at a time. I had 2 pounds of cherries I wanted to make pies with. It didn't take any time at all compared to one by one (life is too short to do it the old tedious way. Especially with a metal straw). The reservoir contains a significant number of pits before it needs to be emptied.

Of all the cherry pits I've bought over the years, this one is the least annoying. Does it remove every hole? No, that is not so. But does it at least push them far enough for me to grab them easily, saving my fingers (and sanity)? You bet! This little gadget is amazingly durable and doesn't slip like many others. You can pit 6 cherries at once without causing too much chaos. Cleaning is hard work. It's a keeper!

I love this gadget! My husband lives for cherry season, but every corer I've ever had frustrated me, which is why I hated preparing cherries for roasting or freezing. This little gem changed the world. It does 6 tasks at once, is easy to use and (unlike some time savers in the kitchen) very easy to clean. I've also used it on large olives and they work well too! It has a small footprint and is self storage. I definitely recommend this product.

This little cherry picker is a great tool for pitting cherries. Cleaning is also difficult. Don't expect to remove a large number of cherries in a short amount of time as the pit is only designed for 6 cherries at a time. We found this stoner to work more efficiently than the larger handle and pit we used. Between two petters, this one was the winner. We both ate 23 pounds of pitted cherries in 3 1/2 hours. Long and hard work, but still easier than making cherries individually.

Bought this for my 5 year old granddaughter who LOVES cherries but not pits. She can press on the pitter herself, but since the pits only sometimes separate completely, this is not an ideal solution. However, we love it and her mum is thrilled that it can be washed in the dishwasher.
