Works great on PC, not so good on Mac IOS

A wonderful device, very bright, easy to use and very portable. But the wireless feature doesn't sync with the Mac very easily, although I spent a lot of time reading the manual and asking my son for help. He says he does but it's not easy or yet! I hope I can figure this out, but it's not really necessary as I can use the cable that comes with it. Instructions are not easy to understand or contain errors. Love it, just sorry I can't figure out how to go wireless!

Pros
  • More accurate, more vibrant colors even in well-lit rooms - 3400 lumens at the same Color and White Light Output levels (1).

Sharp picture, outstanding brightness

This is the latest version of this model. This review does not focus on technical aspects but on a practical point of view. First is clarity. As with any projector, room brightness affects perceived clarity. To remove this variable, I played the film on my 65" TV at 1080p and projected the same film onto this projector at night with the lights off. The image quality is comparable. For my use, this will be used in a fairly bright room for video playback in a meeting environment. I have tested…

Pros

Amazing quality at a great price.

I have been using a projector as my main TV for many years. This is the third I've bought for home entertainment. It replaces the Viewsonic PJD6553w, which gave up the ghost after about 5 years. I updated and tested it with a good discount. So far I've been impressed. This projector is much brighter than my old one. It's much sharper and native HD resolution. The color wheel is very extensive and can even work with bright red colors that can cause artifacts. I will do an additional review once…

Pros
  • More accurate, more vivid colors even in well-lit rooms - 3,400 lumens of consistent Color and White Light Output (1).

It's also perfect for home theater.

Instead of a flat screen, we use this one with a screen in our living room. This is our third Epson projector; We have previously used an 8700 that was struck by lightning and a 3010 home theater that showed lines in the picture. We received it as a temporary device while the 3010 was being refurbished and planned to use it as a portable business device. But we left it in the living room; the same bright, same quality, and a plus that was not mentioned in the advertisement: it decodes and…

Altitude mode is one thing (2 months update)

I ordered this for movie nights while on duty and it's great. It has an amazing picture and clarity. I have no audio issues as I have an HDMI audio extractor for backup and my Firestick and laptop can connect to the speakers via Bluetooth. The only problem I had (my fault, not a malfunction) is that we are at a very high altitude. and one night the projector shut down with an internal error code, then the fan came on and it cooled down. I researched this immediately and found that Epson (they…
