Gorgeous riding boots Boots

Bought these for my granddaughter. She totally loves them. I bought a half size larger and it worked great. They are so well made and great value. She will be using them for her English riding - they look very elegant with her jodhpurs.

Pros
  • Made from the finest lead free 'leather look' material for a soft leather feel and superior wear resistance
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

not for people with feet bigger than a cane

pretty but damn my daughter is 14 years old medium height not tiny feet but these womens boots a size 9 are so hard to close that they literally have to lie down and i pull with all my might and then tuck and push to lift them all the way up, i wouldn't recommend.

Pros
  • faux leather upper for a traditional look
Cons
  • not bad but...

Odd fitting calf shoe

I was sent the wrong size (ordered a 7 and got a 91/2) but the calf fit was really odd! It's very high so I couldn't flex my foot and the boot had a curve that matched the natural shape of the calf, but it was too high and didn't even match the natural curve. But the boot was comfortable and if you are taller (mine is 5'2) they would be comfortable.

Pros
  • No closure
Cons

Nice boots, at a very good price!

Excellent field boots at a very reasonable price. Since my 12-year-old daughter was still growing, I didn't want to invest a lot of money in her competition boots just yet. They look just as nice as the more expensive ones. They are easy to wash even after a day in the dust in the arena and hold their shape well. I put all the stuffing back in the box and back after each show to keep it looking like new.

Pros
  • The EquiStar sole system is durable and offers extra comfort with reduced weight and increased flexibility.
Cons
  • No

Nice and functional bad weather boots

Full disclosure: I'm not a rider and bought these boots to be cute in bad weather. They do well in rainy weather and thanks to a recent snow storm they are holding up well in that area too. At first I wore them as casual boots but the lining in the upper makes my calf hot so bring a pair of ballet flats to wear inside. I recommend buying gel soles.

Pros
  • Leather lining
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Borrowing from what others have said - odd fit, tears

I had high hopes for these boots despite the negative reviews. Unfortunately, this all sounds pretty plausible. I've never had to wear boots with a wide leg, but even on a wide shin they fit very strangely. The zipper is very cheap and difficult to close. Once I was able to close them, I took maybe 5 steps and the zipper broke on both. They will definitely be sent back. I usually wear a normal size 7.5, I have toned legs but by no means large. I ended up opting for another regular size brand…

Pros
  • Riding boots
Cons
  • Not bad

Calf Size - Athletic

later I like these boots, the foot size is very accurate, I think I have long skinny legs and I was concerned that 9.5 would not be long enough (since 9.5 sometimes is a bit small depending on the company) but fits well. The only issue I had with my first order was that I didn't realize how small the regular ones were or that my calves were bigger than I imagined. So I had to send the normal one back and take the wide one. So if you are athletic with a reasonable amount of muscle and think you…

  • I will add

I bought these boots in January 2016. The total cost including taxes was almost $100. It took a long time to get them. The problem I had was that the heels came apart! I have not used them for riding or special events, only for horse rescue work in grass and sand. I couldn't believe the heels fell apart after only four months of light use! I sent a request to the company with photos. Nancy helped me find a replacement. I sent them back via UPS for $20 shipping because I needed them. The reason…
