Fantastic Car Gauge Experience!

The Equus 8257 Vacuum Boost Aluminum gauge is an outstanding addition to any automotive tool collection. Based on our own experience, this gauge is incredibly accurate and simple to install. The LED display is crisp and well-illuminated, making it easy to read even in low-light conditions. However, we would advise potential buyers to read the instructions carefully before installing. Overall, we highly recommend this gauge to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish dashboard accessory.

Pros
  • Accurate and easy to install
Cons
  • Instructions can be difficult to follow

Failed to attach vacuum line to block

Not installed yet. It is not possible to attach the 1/8 inch vacuum hose to the back of the unit with a flare nut as specified. Seems too small. Attempting to try support through the website doesn't work either.

Pros
  • Aluminum frame with white dial and black/silver numbers
Cons
  • Quiet

I had to manually center the needle over the zero mark.

The needle wasn't centered on the zero mark when I received it, but I was able to adjust it by going through the lamp hole on the back of the gauge. As long as it stays where I installed it, it should be correct from the factory though!

Pros
  • White dial with black and silver numerals
Cons
  • Nothing here
