Got a full set in a 1966 van, recently put the 2nd set in a 1987 pickup, I've had the 1st set for 5 years so no complaints, I recommend

They won't let me return it, it looks like cheap plastic I could break with two fingers. The adapters that came with it don't even look like they will fit in my car, no help, just wanted to come back and be ok but they don't want the item to be returned in UNUSED condition.

Black surfaced Equus temperature sensor replaced with this white surfaced sensor for better visibility. I also wanted it to match the new oil pressure gauge I bought. I just had to put a black one in the mount and use the same wires. The same brand meant the same transmitter unit. Supplied with transmitter block, lighting assembly and wire connectors. I now have a spare transmitter unit and light assembly. No claims;

If you are looking for an inexpensive electric water temperature gauge I would recommend this unit. There was no pressure gauge on my Jeep's dashboard, and checking the temperature of the cooling system is very important. The gauge came with all the necessary accessories for installation, including a temperature sensor that was screwed in at the factory. Easy to install for anyone with basic tools and little mechanical skill.

The only downside to this unit is the lighting. The lamp housing that screws into the back interferes with the nut that attaches to the bottom, so you'll need to loosen that nut to mount the lamp. The included lighting is an incandescent bulb and you can either use the standard white light or put a green/red cap on the bulb to change the colour. While this system works, it is far from ideal.
