Missing item good for me

Package came missing one hook. The one I actually ordered the set most wanting to get. Specifically the 0.5mm hook. Package did not appear damaged. Just missing one hook.

Pros
  • Just what I needed for smaller work
Cons
  • Only 10 sizes might not be enough for some projects

What you need for lace and thread crochet!

I didn’t do thread crochet because the tiny hooks were hard to hold comfortably. So when I wanted to do snowflakes this holiday season I looked for something like my regular comfort grip hooks. This was exactly what I wanted. They are comfortable to hold and use. Nice smooth hook without the sharp point you sometimes see on tiny hooks. They even fit nicely in my crochet hook case. Highly recommend if you’re doing lace weight or thread work.

Pros
  • Great value for the money! No problems at all.
Cons
  • Might not be as widely used as regular crochet hooks, limiting sharing or learning opportunities

Just what I needed for my opinion

Shipping was timely. I did not own any really small hooks and needed some for a project. I would recommend these. That's my review!

Pros
  • No issues. Perfect for the intended use.
Cons
  • Sizes on handles are not correct. Totally worthless.

So Happy I Found These

Love love love these. A thousand times more comfortable to hold than my old aluminum hooks. I'm no longer dreading tiny stitches and fine yarn projects. Yes, the sizes seem like they might be a little off, but for amigurumi it doesn't really matter. For anything else, there's the hated gauge swatch. Worth it.

Pros
  • I love these hooks. Easy to hold on to and use.
Cons
  • The ergonomic design may be too bulky for some users and cause discomfort

My favorite hooks! on my review.

I used these for many of my Christmas gift projects and they were a lifesaver when my old ones broke (different brand--think it was Bates?).

Pros
  • These are good hooks. Much easier to hold than the regular ones.
Cons
  • The price might not be justified for the limited number of hooks

Handles are short good for me

My hands are not large and still the handles were too short to hold easily. One the hooks bent going through lace. Not sturdy.

Pros
  • I am really happy with the crochet hooks. I purchased them for stone dotting and they are perfect.
Cons
  • Might not be compatible with some types of crochet fabric

Makes crocheting pleasurable again!

I bought these when I decided to take up doily making again. I have a complete set of traditional steel crochet hooks, but was finding them hard to use with arthritic hands. These are terrific! I can grip them with ease and I'm having a great time crocheting again!

Pros
  • I make doilies with varying sizes of thread and these hooks are very comfortable to work with
Cons
  • The set may be too specialized for some users

The smallest is mind-blowing

I have no clue how someone can crochet with the smallest hook in this set, but wowee! I'm not sure if this kit is designed for specific projects, like lace, or that the sizes are for most standard crochet projects; but the smallest hook seems strong despite it's delicate features (being so tiny) and the silicone grip is great.

Pros
  • Exactly as pictured, good quality, comfortable to use.
Cons
  • The small size of the hooks might not be noticeable to some users

SNAGS. Hooks aren’t smooth.

I loved these sizes but unfortunately the hooks weren’t smooth at all. I was devastated. They were snagging everything and even when it didn’t snag the yarn, the yarn would get caught in the indents on the hook and it became very frustrating. I couldn’t hardly do anything.

Pros
  • crocheting a doily and the needle was comfortable as I have a bit of arthritis
Cons
  • The small size of the hooks increases the likelihood of them getting lost

Exactly what I needed

Soft-ish rubber handles that are longer than standard hooks, which is nice as I have large hands. Good price and even though they look cheap they did the job, which for me was to crochet small flowers from embroidery floss thread.

Pros
  • Awesome, would buy again.
Cons
  • The ergonomic design might not work for all users due to individual differences

Nice feel to the hands

These feel nicer to the hands with the rubber grip than others I own with hard plastic handles. They're a must for the smaller hooks and thread crochet. I own steel hooks without grips, but they're harder on my hands. I use a pencil grip and these are still comfortable to use.

Pros
  • small
Cons
  • Not ideal for individuals with arthritis or joint pain

  • Excellent product for a great price.
Cons
  • Might not be suitable for specific types of crochet patterns

Finally a small hook you can hold

Beautiful, soft and comfortable. I am an avid crocheter. My accomplishments are always my greatest challenges. Finally they made them. Thank you

Pros
  • Nice hooks 😊
Cons
  • The small size of the hooks might not be comfortable for those with hand mobility issues
