Warm light is very bright but soft. They were hardwired for me by an electrician as my kitchen layout is not conducive to hooking up all the lights. But since they aren't connected to a low voltage transformer going through the original wiring, I can't use a dimmer. The electrician tried to wire the existing dimmer on the wall which turns on all the lights but the dimmer doesn't work. That's not a problem for me, but it would be nice to have that option.

Very little to like. It has multiple ways of connecting and diffusing light, which is very convenient. I butt spliced 3 and butt spliced a cable between the next 2 and then one. brightness as expected. The only issue (and a small one) is that the mounting screws are very small, as that's what you need if you want to use the screw hole covers. I bought these for kitchen cabinet lighting. I used double sided tape (included). Installation time was 10 minutes and transformed my dark countertops into a stylishly well-lit area. Power supplies do not meet the requirements. The wall adapters provided with the product provide a minimum amount of power. So, if the user decides to cascade multiple modules, there may be a problem of insufficient current. The production cost of a 24W product compared to a 12W product is pennies. I am very happy with these lights and more importantly so is my wife. I researched cabinet lighting options and chose them for the flexibility of the 7" segments. I bought a set of six sections and used three sections under a two-door cabinet, two under a corner cabinet and one under a narrow one-door cabinet. Over-reach microwave.
