all in one inch from bulkhead to u-tube. Gravity could do with a huge drop and long hoses, but the skimmer box is too small, about 600-700 gph max. The U-tube cavity is too small for two-inch and quarter-tubes. indeed a device with a much lower consumption than I expected.

This is an excellent hanging overflow box for non-drillable tanks. Didn't lose the siphon. As long as the flow is high enough, the bubbles won't get stuck and impede the flow. Has been working flawlessly for 2 months. Bulkheads accept 1" standard PVC sliding fittings that require gluing.

Product was easy to set up. I've severely let him down instead of the flexible hoses I use most often. Just suck on an airline to fill the siphons in each tube and that was great. I have a large DC6000 return pump and this overflow easily handles 1000 gph through the sump. Very quiet and safe in the event of a power failure. The siphon will not break and flood your space. Thank you eshoppes for another great product.

Bought a few months ago and finally assembled the pallet. I really should have read the reviews and not just based my decision on the number of stars. These are the WORST instructions I've ever seen! And if anyone can help me figure out how to use the small tube that comes with the kit please share. Once I'm done installing I'll update this review for better or worse.

This is the best overflow I have ever used. Other models from other manufacturers do not clean the air bubbles that collect in the overflow well or require a pump to remove air. In my experience they don't work very well as the pump inevitably gets clogged and stops working. If you're on vacation or don't realize it, you could flood your home or kill fish due to lack of circulation.

I have a smaller version of the same product and am familiar with how this device works. I paid a lot of money for plastic pieces, but I needed these plastic pieces, that's why I did it! Imagine my anger when I open the box and the pieces are missing. The two nuts that attach the bulkhead to the pressure lines are missing. Please fix this and fix it fast! My rating will be corrected when I receive the details and credit to my account.

This is a well made overflow which appears to be good quality acrylic but uses sponges to restrict flow. My tank almost flooded several times because it filled up faster than it could drain and the bulkheads were leaking too. I didn't realize it until it was all together and I couldn't reach it without ripping off the whole tank so I filled it with silicone and a ton of silicone until it stopped leaking. 1. The box it came in was smaller than the box the overflow came in! Not even a joke. At the same time, I was extremely skeptical that my overflow would remain intact and without cracks.
