Best Filter for Expro French Press Coffee Makers

These 18 ounce Espro French Press coffee maker filters reduce the oil content and acidity of the coffee. I ran out of those filters and had to start drinking coffee without paper filters and there was a huge difference in taste. I prefer the taste of coffee with filters and these filters are perfect. I plan to buy them again and again.

Improves the taste/is it worth the effort? Yes.

I notice a difference in the softness and taste of the coffee. Small but striking and worth the effort. If I don't use the right technique, it's a bit of a chore to install every morning. Luckily I only have to cook one a day. Edit: A little practice made this easy to set up every day. worth the effort.

Pros
  • Coffee machine accessory
Cons
  • Expensive

Worked great in a French Press

I like coffee that I make in a French Press, but I've read that coffee gets too much oil. I read a lifehack somewhere that using these ESPRO filters minimizes the amount of extra oils that get into my coffee. It's extra work, but now I have filter coffee that still tastes good. I grind beans myself and I like to think that the coffee is the same or even better than what I can get in cafes.
