It looked like new (mine after every use.

works! I've cleaned my Espro and Aeropress. It looked like new (mine after every use with soap and water) and those brewers are over one year old not sure if they leave chemical residue cant try if they stay behind recommended

It works amazingly well!

I think I'm 2 years late with a good cleaning. I tried cleaning the filter but it didn't work. Then I coughed up quite a whopping $16 and bought this, soaked my filter and it looked brand new. Espro looks pretty stylish too. I would give 5 stars but the price is a bit high. The instructions are to use 15g each time, which means it's enough for 9 uses. It's almost $2 each. You should just double the amount of the product, then everything will be fine.

Cleans as it should

As I said, I dissolved 1 ton of cleaner in 16 ounces of very hot water (I used an electric kettle to heat the water). In a large Pyrex measuring cup, I placed the filters in the solution and let them soak for 30 minutes. At first the solution was clear, but after 30 minutes the solution turned light brown... The rest of the coffee was removed. Ideally. I washed the filters well as recommended. Although I use a bottle brush to clean the filters every day, this cleaner removes any remaining…

Works as advertised

I wish I had taken a 'before' photo as it has restored my many years and much used P1 travel press to near mint condition. I washed it with washing up liquid and a brush after each use as per the very old instructions but at that point it looked almost copper colored on the inside. Soaking a tea filter in hot water with a teaspoon of ESPRO cleaning powder in a press (P1 500ml) for 30 minutes transformed the interior from steampunk residue I couldn't scrub off with a brush and soap to pristine…
