Appears to be well built and probably won't fall apart anytime soon. Blue isn't an eye-catching color (it's more of a yellow to me), if that matters. He does what he has to do.
I use this hammer to drive 2" x 2" wooden stakes into the ground. This is the perfect size for this job. The weight of the hammer is covered and the fiberglass handle absorbs shock.
Everyone needs a big hammer to get the job done. You can use Estwing with confidence. Thor doesn't mind me working on the Estwing harness. My future grandchildren will inherit this hammer.
I use this hammer to drive a metal post into the ground that will hold my electric fence in place. Many trees fell on my electric fence during the hurricane, and I'm replacing the wooden pole with a metal pole. I was able to buy a hammer locally but it was much easier to order from Revain.
He was too good at what he did. I've knocked out and accidentally deformed some damn expensive equipment at work. But it's my fault, not the hammer's. The hammers are pretty good, reliable and worth the price. Warning: Don't hit expensive items with it unless you know what you're doing.
This is a powerful little hammer. I fell in love with them as soon as I picked them up. The only downside is that I recently shopped at a Lowes store in my area and found the exact same hammer for about half the price. Shipping for the hammer is beyond what should ever be charged, it's a heavy item so take that into consideration when shipping it anywhere.
