A great way to connect a mobile phone.

Yes, I use it to connect my phone to Ethernet. Turn off WiFi/Cellular and work at wired speeds. Great way to test connections.

Worked for a few weeks then stopped working

Worked great for a few weeks then died so I bought another one thinking it was faulty but the same thing happened to this one .

Long cable is great: Networking products

Most dongles have a short cable. So if you're using it with an iPad (where it's side-mounted), it's hanging up in the air and the connection can be poor. The long cord allows you to place it on your desk. Much better.

Works perfectly with my 2019 MPB - just what you need

This adapter is worth it! Perfect, reliable and stable connection - you get all the speed you should get from your ISP, and even a little. The cable itself is made from the same high quality material as other Maxonar cables I have purchased. Feels good, looks very smooth and sleek, is very durable and fits my USB-C port like a glove - it snaps securely into place. If you are looking for such an adapter, this is it.

Doesn't work with TiVo

Before I bought it I asked if it would work with the TiVo Stream 4K but got no response so I got it and tried it. Although the connection and activity lights are on, TiVo is not connecting to the internet. I also tested it on a tablet and it worked fine there.

The cable didn't work it was DOA

I bought this for my Revain Fire Cube. The cable that came with the Cube had a maximum bandwidth of just 90MB. Not good enough! So I bought this USB to Ethernet cable from Maxonar. Unfortunately this cable didn't work, it was DOA. Pity! I couldn't figure out why my new Fire Cube wouldn't see the ethernet connection. It was very annoying! I had to go back to my system and replace it with another cable, now I'm getting high 300 to low 400 speeds. Great progress.
