Looks better in the picture! Cheap materials, and it's not strong, won't hold up like a box and won't fall apart unless tied to a watch machine's headrest. The upper part of the side flaps does not fold, you need to find something more durable and made of better material.

Cannot compare to the Solvit brand, this seat is too light for any dog of any weight. The idea is to protect our pet, but that's just not enough. The headrest strap only had one end on the seat I received so I believe I received a defective strap which is difficult to tell from the pictures. After installing it in the car, it didn't lie down straight away, but sat as if the dog had just rolled out upside down.

This seat is perfect for my 8 lb Chihuahua Jesse James. I picked him up so he can look out the window and the straps can be placed and adjusted so he doesn't move AT ALL. I also love the fact that it has a belt clip attached so I can attach Jesse to the seat. He can still move around in the car seat himself, but he can't jump out and run into the car.
