Ettore 10016 ProSeries Squeegee 16 Inch Review

Works and looks high quality. I was expecting the grip to be threaded for attaching a standard bar, but there is no thread on it. If you want to attach a pole you will either need a special pole that snaps into the holes in the handle or use screws to attach a regular pole through the holes in the handle.

You would think that the companies selling these products have already improved the system, but no. This expensive useless crap had a white coating all over the blade and inside the channel. Probably used or old tires. Trying to remove the high rubber to remove it was more problematic. It has some sort of silly clamp system that is difficult to remove and reinstall.

After many years (6+ years) of use I replaced our existing solid brass Ettore window scraper. I found the old scraper still worked well, although the ends of the blades were a bit worn. When I started using the new squeegee, it was clear that the old squeegee's rubber lip was tired (too soft). It's amazing how easy it is to use a spare wiper in place of my old one. This makes it much easier to get a perfect hit. Next time I won't wait so long to get a replacement. It's nice when a quality…
