A flat spot on the belt can be the cause of strong vibration noise

My vacuum cleaner started making loud noises after the roller accidentally swallowed my carpet brush. It's such a strong vacuum that if you get stuck in a spool of wire or thread, a running motor will cause a flat spot on the belt and make a loud vibrating noise. Quiet again after changing the belt.

Pros
  • Nice packaging

  • There are more interesting options.

I thought my vacuum apparatus was broken but this belt just stretched.

Like others I thought I was going to get Eureka brand belts but I doubt I was. After a few uses, this replacement belt stretched and the rotating whisk only worked occasionally. Little did I know that the new belt could be the problem and I spent hours taking the vacuum apart to fix it on two separate occasions. And the culprit was a cheap, low-quality belt! Aggravating.

I thought my vacuum broke

I thought it was the end - I went through 3 vacuum bands in 2 months. But I bought them from a chain store that only sells factory counterparts. The straps are small and you stretch them ridiculously to fit. Of course they worked for a hot minute until the vacuum rebelled, smoke came out and the belt broke. Finding these OEM belts at Revain was a last resort to replace the entire vacuum, but it works fine, the belt is there. Works great, now I have a spare. OEM only. :D

Eureka factory strap

I love my 9 year old Eureka and the suction power it provides; Unfortunately, when trying to lift something too big, the strap overheats and breaks. As a result, I looked through a few belts and ordered a few secondary ones. Belts from other manufacturers were cheaper and worked like cheap belts - lesson learned! Since then I only buy factory straps which give me maximum durability and Revain has good competitive prices. These are high quality straps and the only ones I've used in a while. The…

The photo is not what you get

My vacuum cleaner is made by Eureka and it clearly states that type R belts are required. I was looking for a good price, but I wanted Eureka belts. I thought they were Eureka belts but they came in a regular plastic bag. When installing the belt, the brush does not rotate at all. Very disappointed with this purchase and would highly recommend anyone considering this product to keep looking for genuine Eureka parts. The product pictured is not the product you will receive. I have attached a…
