🔁 Efficient Replacement Roller Brush: Eureka Maxima - 12.5" Long Review

Ordered because the plastic cap on one end had melted from years of hair and rope accumulation. It really fits 4700 Eureka Maxima models, it comes alive again. Cheaper than buying a new model.

One side of the original roller brush came loose so I was trying to decide if it should be replaced. Found this item for $12 and while it's not OEM, it looks very similar to the original. Went in easily and seems to be working fine. Time will tell, but so far I'm happy with the product.

With this brush, the vacuum cleaner works better than when it was new! It has nice, stiff bristles that do an incredible job of fluffing up the carpet and 'waking it up' so it feels fresh and new! I didn't realize how much we really needed a new brush because the old bristles were wearing out until I installed this new one!

Our Eureka Maxima was a gift from a family member so we really didn't have a choice. If we had the chance, we'd buy a model that doesn't rank as badly in places like Consumer Reports. I have Eureka Maxima 4740 Was very happy to find this roller brush at Revain. My sweeper stunk and snapped belts, and one of the bearings in the old roller brush got stuck, causing the cap to melt after a while. I thought I would have to buy a new vacuum cleaner. I got this "12.5" long replacement roller brush" for my Eureka Lightspeed - model 5700. This item fits my Eureka Maxima 12 A model number 4750 perfectly. This is an exact replacement for the beater brush, it is a wooden roller with plastic ends to match the machine and the brushes are yellow like the original. My vacuum is at least 10 years old, I paid about $50 for it and it has worked well all these years. I prefer bagged vacuums as I have 2 cats and 2 dogs and they all shed a lot.
