Efficient Cleaning Guaranteed: EUREKA Upright 4700 Brushroll, 12 Inch Review

This is a perfect fit for the Eureka 5740 vacuum. I have used this as a spare in my vacuum for 3 years and it has held up well with regular use. It's worth it in terms of cost, functionality and durability.

I was so happy to find this brush roll. As soon as I received it my friend installed it and it was such a pleasure to see it clean my carpets so well. I have 3 dogs and need to vacuum a lot. I even ordered another one to have on hand. Excellent purchase.

It was very easy to install and what a difference! My original brush roll worked for many years and I found that it would not assemble properly. When I replaced it my carpets and rugs looked great - there was also a lot more dirt in the canister - highly recommended if it's been a few years since you changed brushrolls or are still using the original.

Our old Eureka works like new after installing a new pulley and U-belt. The U-belt required is part #61120G-12. Our old brush had never been changed in over 7 years of vacuum ownership and was badly worn. But before I shell out hundreds for a fancy new vacuum cleaner, I thought I'd give it a try. We immediately noticed a difference when the vacuum cleaner tried to "crawl" forward on its own again and the roller did its job. The vacuum was half full after running over our "clean" carpet.
