It never really worked as a cooler. Just a very weak fan. Not worth the money at all. Oh, and my TV remote also ran on a fan so it couldn't be anywhere in the main living room, which is exactly where I ordered it from.

This is nothing more than an expensive fan. As you can see from the picture, this "fan" is in the same room as my thermostat and after 8 hours of operation it didn't even lower the temperature by 1 degree. This room is 120 square meters. I am very unhappy with this purchase and will be returning for a full refund.

Cooler requires refilling water and changing frozen water bottle. The manual mentions this pipe and this pipe and this valve, but the water bowl is at the bottom. It's too difficult for an old lady to keep up; Also, it's not very strong. I guess I'll just let it run until it dies. I think it will last a few years as we have hard water which is not very good for pipes.

I bought this fan when the air conditioning broke in our living/dining room hoping it would keep us going until we got a installed a new device. It works as advertised. As soon as you add water and an ice pack to the tank, you immediately feel the cool air. However, this cooler isn't really designed for large rooms unless you're sitting right in front of it.
