This carrying case (I bought 3 in different colors) does NOT fit the new Fire HD 8 tablet with Alexa! (I bought 3 of these in different colors for my grandkids for Christmas) AND NON-REFUNDABLE so I wasted my (grandkids) Christmas money/budget! Bought this for my granddaughters on their iPads they got from Santa. They are lightweight and appear to be very well made. We haven't had them that long and we let them take care of their stuff (2 and 4 years old) so time will tell how this suitcase will work out for our little girls. The colors are beautiful and the outside zip pocket holds the charger/cable perfectly. There's extra space so they can also pack the necessary notebook and crayon!

I have a new 8" Kindle Fire HD. After reading several reviews I was afraid it would not work. I was very pleased that it was a perfect fit. My 8" Fire has no extra cases, it's ready to use.
