Description of Large Size Natural Chamois (3.5 sq ft.) by Ever New Automotive - Premium New Zealand Sheepskin for Autos, Boats, RVs, and Home! Incredible Renewable Resource!

100% Genuine New Zealand Sheep Skin Leather that is Tanned in Turkey. Assembled by American workers in the USA. Ever New Automotive 100% Satisfaction Guarantee! The Natural Chamois (L) Large has thousands of uses! The Perfact Accessory for your Automobile, RV, Boat, Home .Throw away those abrasive synthetic petrolium derived towels and treat yourself to a renewable Genuine New Zealand Chamois. New Zealand Chamois Difference! Because of the long tradition of sheep farming in New Zealand, and its relatively stable weather conditions and feed availability, the country produces very high quality sheepskins on a consistent basis. Regions which have less stable climates or larger variations in temperature, rainfall, feed availability, etc.year after year cannot consistently produce the quality of skins necessary for chamois cloth production. Sheep skin is hydrophilic or absorbent, the only skin in the world with this property. The leather allows the cloth to hold an average of 5 times its own weight in water, while retaining the ability to be easily rinsed and wrung out. Natural leather chamois are also made from a renewable resource, where synthetics are petroleum based products and are not.

Good quality (thickness)

I've been using suede for decades. I had a lot. This one is significantly thicker than most I've had. It costs a little more, but that's what you get. If you're like me and use it a lot I would expect it to cost $ as it should hold up much better than thinner (cheaper) models. This is real suede with the expected absorbency.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Appearance

spilling the whole car with wipes

Pre-treated as directed and then tried to dry the car after washing. Partially made it through the roof then started spilling stuff everywhere. I didn't shake off the garbage after me, I had to wash the car completely - and dry it with another suede. Also, this suede was thinner than any I've used in years of car washing, meaning it held less water and required wringing more often. The product was defective, I will not buy from this seller again.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Expensive

Don't bother

I have another natural suede, I've been using it for 10 years and it's getting old so I wanted to break in new suede to replace. This one was of very poor quality, even after you made the preparations that need to be done to get the new suede ready for use, it developed small holes and fell apart. The few times I was able to use it to dry, it left too much lint (little yellow bits) all over my car, effectively wasting my time washing my truck afterwards. Wash the suede in warm, soapy water…

Pros
  • everything is fine!
Cons
  • Can do harm

I found this a bad product.

When I bought a brand new car I wanted to dry it with suede after every wash (once a week). This product from NATURAL ZAMA does not work well. Unlike other suede I've used in the past, this product doesn't absorb water as easily (it absorbs less water than expected with each pass leaving lots of moisture droplets, it takes multiple applications to dry an area ) and it is VERY DIFFICULT to clean. press, extract. Later, when shopping at TARGET, I was delighted to purchase the MYRIDE Genuine Sued…

Pros
  • Good thing
