Great flexible reducer for industrial plumbing

As a regular user of Industrial and Scientific plumbing and fitting components, I strongly recommend this flexible reducer. Great dust collector!

Bought for my 4 inch dust bag on my Grizzly band saw. It fits perfectly with my workshop vacuum hose. I like the flexibility of the connector and the ability to push it firmly against the saw connector as well as the vacuum hose. This flexible feature reduces the amount of sawdust that would otherwise be wasted when using a standard plastic fitting.

Expensive - no, not when you see what he can do to create a dust collection system.

later I bought the 4"x2" version to use on my band saw and was surprised to find that the inside diameter is larger than expected (actually: 4-3/8" and 2-1/4". ” " ), but despite its strength, it easily snaps onto the connector. Another benefit for me was that the 2" side easily slides over 2" Schedule 40 PVC pipe and even up to 2-3/8" pipe extension! Of course, adapting band saws and table saws to different pipe sizes is cheaper because it reduces the need for custom-sized connectors.
