I have been a kickboxer for over 10 years and bought these gloves for home use. It is very light but not suitable for pedaling or hard work. It's also a bit small. Therefore, he cannot withstand strong punches and kicks. I would recommend buying mittens that can absorb both high impact and large sizes.

Excellent quality. The mittens do absorb the impact but are a bit difficult for small hands to hold. I have to grip my gloved hands tightly to keep them from slipping while I absorb the impact. Might work better for someone with big/fat hands. I have very thin hands and my fingers are VERY loose on my mittens. However, I can get them to work and I enjoy using them for training with my son.

My husband and I train together and have started boxing. They work great for us, but we're not professionals. I have small hands and some of the gloves are a bit big so I just press the top of the finger holes with my fingers and everything works fine. They don't look cheap to me and seem solid enough, but we just box for fun. Bottom line, they work and I would recommend them to anyone. I think if you're not training for real boxing, that should be fine.
