Boxing gloves

Need an alternative to boxing gloves to take to the gym. Not a serious boxer, just go to a gym that has a bag station and don't like carrying around big gloves. They work great, a bit stiff at first but wear out a bit over time. They have held up well and are much easier to take to the gym with you.

Pros
  • at a great price. Just unbelievable!
Cons
  • Damaged

Good for the pocket, not for the joints

Depending on how you hit the punching bag. If you hit softly, you can just wear gloves. If you plan on hitting the sack hard, you might want to wrap your hands first because your knuckles won't like it. Of course, if you want good quality gloves, it will cost you around $100. But if you're just a fan of mixed martial arts, these gloves will do for you.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Functionality

We bought these shoes for my wife who is a daily kick boxer and loves it. .We returned them for another PIR and the same problems persisted so we returned them and didn't redeem them. These are good gloves but not real leather and they had some quality control issues that caught our attention.

  • Hands Free
Cons
  • High Price

An absolute waste of money!

Totally disappointed with this product. From the first week of use, the threads on the finger loops began to unravel, causing fingers to snag when putting on and during use. 4 months after purchasing this item, the stitching on the ankle padding came loose. This product only comes with a 120 day guarantee and apparently with good reason. I have since contacted the company but have not yet received a response from them. Quality products and your product's reputation should be part of every sales

They are perfect for my kickboxing class

They are perfect for my kickboxing class. Protects fingers and supports wrist. Dry quickly. I use it twice a week, so far there are no unpleasant smells. A month later they are like new. Durability will no doubt depend on how often and how hard you train, but they're perfect for amateurs like me who take kickboxing classes just for cardio. My only complaint is that the sizing options for Everlast training gloves are a bit limited. My height is 8.4 inches (ankle circumference). The L/X-Largeโ€ฆ

Decent glove but don't use it on a heavy bag.

I am a medium height male (5'9" 195"). I ordered a small/medium size and I think they fit me very well. I'm not an MMA fighter and I don't dream of becoming one. I'm sure these gloves will do well for their intended purpose. I had them banged against a heavy bag at my gym, but didn't want bulky 12-ounce boxing gloves (they fit perfectly in a gym bag). But 10 minutes into my first session with the bag, the seam split between my index finger and thumb. I re-stitched it, but I probably won't hitโ€ฆ

Not a bad price but better invest in quality gloves

I used these in the Revain wardrobe to test. Use it for pocket work, sparring and wrestling. I like a little more room to use bandages. I like the thumb hole as it improves grip and a secure fit. I think the material feels like it will tear after a hard few weeks as it usually does with most Everlast products that I have used. These gloves require the use of a hand wrap as they do not have wrist support. To be honest I wouldn't spend money on it if I was investing in gloves, it's better to payโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

The stitching came undone after a few uses.

I bought this pair of gloves with another pair, when I first got them I've used them a couple of times and the stitching ripped right away but the other pair runs like clockwork so guess I found mine was just defective (happens in every production) also I received a full refund for the product so I am very happy with my purchase. As for the gloves themselves, I really like this style and not the ones that also cover the thumb. Also note that this greatly reduces contact. They're great forโ€ฆ
