When I tried this replacement cartridge, I was impressed with its ability to filter out impurities and provide improved taste and clarity to my facility's water supply. It's easy to install and delivered results quickly. However, the replacement frequency can be a bit short, and replacing it can be a bit pricey. We think the filter works great and we change it about every six months. I prefer this "2CB5" version of the filters to the "2CB5-S" or "2CB5-K" versions which also soften the water. Here in Seattle, city water is already super soft, and further softening will harm the taste of the coffee for our espresso machine.
