Only works in one direction

I have a Gigabyte RTX 2070 super. According to Amazon it fits all rtx 2070/super. Evga's website states that the 2070 Super is compatible with some model numbers which I now assume are unique to EVGA 2070 Supers. This is not related to my graphics card as it can only be installed one way. If the clips on the power connectors are facing up then you will not be able to use this product as evga does not offer the ability to reverse the pins and therefore does not make their product universal for…

Was not compatible with my GPU.

This would be a 5 star rating if it was compatible with my GPU! It's well built, love how easy it is to set up PowerLink to adapt to most GPUs. I've seen a lot of videos on how to install it and from what I can see it's TOTALLY easy to install. If I could install it on my GPU it would further improve the cable management of my latest PC build. So, here's what happened! I'm in the process of installing this PowerLink on my GPU and this is where I found that I can't do this because the power…

Excellent product: plug and adapter

Definitely a great product. Installing it with my GTX 1080TI FTW3 was quite a hassle, but not overly difficult. I would definitely recommend using a GPU support bracket if you buy one of these as this product adds weight to your GPU which in turn puts stress on your motherboard's PCI slot (GPU slip). However, once the product is installed, it looks a lot better with the GPU power cables coming out the side instead of the front. The kit included a small wrench to adjust the power connections…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than other picks

Ehhh, take it or leave it.

First off, let me say that I'm a die-hard EVGA fan. This is the only GPU brand I will buy and I have never had a problem with a product I have bought that has their name on it. However, I was quite disappointed when I took two of these for my SLI 1080. . I think I was hoping for a more humble profile. But these things stand out a lot! I actually measured it and they take up more space than my cables originally. I mean the product itself is basic and should cost half as much. Given how much they

Excellent cable management!

I've often wondered why many graphics card power connectors are on the front and not the end of the card. Well, whatever the reason, this inexpensive device will fix it! For folks who were frustrated by the lack of an EVGA backlight, I have a trade-off. As long as it's not burning, it glows a little. Remove the mask so you don't get the color where you don't need it (may drop a drop before you get it where you want it). Use any color tester mockup paint (they can glow in the dark but I had some

Great product but watch out for those tiny screws!

Received this after deciding to purchase to clean up my graphics card cables that were getting in the way of my really clean look. I received it in a few days and immediately started installing it in my case. After removing the power cord from my case (always do!) and removing the cover, I measured (visually) where my ports should be, then proceeded with the task of tightening the tiny screws on the unit with a tiny screwdriver solve. To my great surprise, not only did they weaken, but they…

Cleans graphics card power cables and power itself!

I bought this because I got the new EVGA Geforce RTX 2080 Super XC for Christmas and the power cables were blocking the nifty RGB on the side. Unfortunately, while it improves the look of my build, its bulkiness means it STILL blocks view somewhat. Even sitting down, I can only see the bottom half of the RGB text under Powerlink. However DEFINITELY an overall improvement so no regrets. To be honest I haven't even read enough to realize that this should be a power advantage. I thought it was…

Puts your power cords where they should be

To be honest the thing is a bit chunky, although it more or less fits my card. EVGA could definitely make it look better than it really is if they tried. And while it sits higher and farther from the back of the card than your power cable connectors could, the real benefit is that it pushes the power cables down toward the motherboard, keeping those cables and connectors out of the air above the CPU -Hanging airspace, creating a more serious problem of airflow and turbulence. Sure, you can…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Null

Good, simple, does exactly what it's supposed to do. It accepts any combination of 6-pin and 8-pin inputs, connects all 12V lines in parallel, and then outputs them. This results in the power being delivered to both inputs fairly evenly and without distortion. For outputs, it defaults to 8+8, and there's a 6-pin output that you can use instead of 8-pin. The leaflet in the package says it's possible to request a second 6 pin output if you have a 6+6 card. I have a Mac Pro 5.1 with an Nvidia…
