I definitely like this console toolbox. My only complaint is that it had a few small scratches when it arrived. I didn't mind returning it, especially as this item has been used and abused regularly since I was outfitted. All in all I would buy another one if I had the chance.

We bought this tool box as a 15 year Christmas present for a wood carving family member. The design is good, the box is very functional. However, in less than 2 months of use, one of the rivets holding the handle and acting as a hinge for the trays broke off. Now the opening and closing of the box doesn't work properly and it's quite difficult to guide the trays into place. I wish the box was of better quality.

Bought for my son to store his tools in. (He's 13 and uses them all the time) We love the design of the top shelves that protrude. Cons: Not as heavy metal as we hoped and after about 6 months one of the rivets for one of the cantilever brackets came loose. We have not abused the box but it is used several times a week but a real mechanic would not use it. It's still good for storing and carrying tools, but we're not thrilled with the quality.

I received a drawer and returned it due to poor alignment of the cantilever sections - one side fitted well but the other did not close fully and was not flush with the side of the drawer. The replacement box had the same problem, only worse, and the misalignment scratched the paint. Good quality metal (3/5 stars). It's solid and won't warp or bend. As expected. Mounts are cheap (2/5 stars). It looks like some of them will pop out with normal/medium usage. Also, two key attachments are missing on one side. The opening/closing mechanism requires great care to open properly and not bind.
