Do not recommend this product. Everything was fine for a month, then the paint began to peel off. When we found out why our tank was cloudy (which had never happened before), we had lost 100% of our African cichlids. A few hours after the skull was removed, the water cleared. I see that most of the skull is now white instead of the original color. Definitely not happy!

9 days after this decoration entered my aquarium I noticed that its color *dissolved* in the aquarium water. Please see photo. Black spots are areas where the color has completely dissolved. Also, the inside of the ornament has extremely sharp edges. Sharp enough to cut your hand, meaning sharp enough to injure or kill a fish. Sorry, but this is totally unacceptable for aquariums. DO NOT BUY!

The company may have fixed the tip over problem but my cooler won't tip over! It couldn't be sweeter. My Betta loves it. I love it. Perfect size for my 5 liter aquarium. Added a glowing anemone and black pebbles with some glowing ones inside, and it looks amazing with the blacklight on! Highly recommended. Adding a tiny UFO that will be on Revane once it arrives. I didn't have any problems with sharp edges either. Check out the photos!

I love the little alligator and his skull! As I can't give two separate reviews for each I will review both as I have purchased both. The alligator reminded me of an alligator mouth I used for a large aquarium a few years ago. Was very happy to find a mini version for my 2.5 gallon tank! I was in awe of the skull! I work in the medical field, so I'm in anatomy! The skull fits perfectly into the aquarium! My fish likes to have two places to hide. I would recommend both!

I really liked the skull in the photo but the one that came in the mail looks fake? The listing (and other review images) has plenty of hiding/swimming through space. The one I received had fused teeth and bits of resin hanging out of the mouth which were then painted to look like "teeth". The product I received was stamped 2012 so I'm not sure if it's an old version that was just pushed back and eventually dug up or something, but it absolutely doesn't look like it came on the Amazon list.

Not blue; this is the realistic bone color. Mine looks blue because we use blue LEDs to make the blue color of the crabs bright. I have read other reviews which are correct in saying that the picture shown is not entirely accurate. The actual product comes with a set of molars fused side to side and bottom to top. This makes it less realistic. I used a special tool and removed three teeth from each side to make the actual product look more like the photo in the listing. The back of the head…

LOVE! I wanted an awesome skull aquarium decoration for my rooster bowl at work; I was a little worried it would be too big for the bowl but luckily it fits perfectly! Really nice work, very realistic and I love the holes in it; It's great to see how it swings through the eyes. Currently looking for some lighting to illuminate the interior; It would also be ideal to put a bubbler in if you like. Either way, it would also be nice in my 25 gallon tank (currently in storage); Definitely recommend!
