My wife got a pair of these a few years ago and they were great. Easy to put on and take off and they kept you above the snow. So I got a set too and took them out yesterday on a hike. Not bad! The poles really helped. Didn't really need the gaiters because I never sank much. This is for NorthEastern type snow which usually compacts, so not sure how if I would get a larger size for more powder. Anyway, nice stuff that works at a decent price.

I picked these snowshoes up for my wife. They're just the right size for her, and the weight is so light that we went for the first time in years this last weekend and we could actually hike for over an hour without fatigue.The crampons are tough, even biting through pretty thick ice. Great shoes for the price!

Even at NACATIN's advertised price (as of the writing of this review), it is a great value and gives you something to do during the cold winter months. Yes, I am writing this in April and we still have snow up in the mountains of Utah. We did a short hike and my wife did not complain about these being any more difficult than her old pair. We are very satisfied with them. The poles are a nice addition as we don't have to purchase additional ones.

This was my first pair of snowshoes and I was a bit disappointed in the straps that latch onto your boots; specifically, the ratchets on the straps. The ratcheting mechanics were loose, requiring just the right angle to bite into the strap. Thereafter, they didn't maintain their grip very well. Within 10 minutes of hiking, I had to tighten them back down. The rest of the fit and function are as advertised.

I noticed a " flash promotion " at 50 % off of the original $99.00 price.I would not really qualify it as light weight, because that to me suggests that backpackers might find it light enough to carry it and for that it is too heavy. On the other hand it is designed to cover distances advancing even in inclining hill sides in deep snow. The only regret I have that the seller would not let me order two sets…

These are perfect for our midwest winters. We haven't had but one semi-decent snowfall so far this year. I took these out for a trial run when we did and they worked well.My feet stayed firmly in place during my trek. They worked fine for my size (10) and the poles are a plus! The carrying bag is great to keep all of the components together. Not too expensive either and very giftable for the outdoors person.

I am so excited to see the overall quality of these Snowshoes seems to be great!One of our poles is missing its star grip so I am hopeful the seller will make good on this small issue?With that said these Snowshoes look to be everything I'd hoped for and am excited to give them a good test ASAP!

Don’t like how it’s one piece instead of two straps. Very difficult to make it where my boots stay in place. The strap is annoying as well because it drags in the snow.

These snow shoes are in my opinion worth the money. They are light weight and pretty well built from what I see. Haven't got to really try them out due to the seasons changing and a not very snowy year this year. However I am looking forward to using them next winter and from what lil bit I have used them they are a great deal and you get trekking poles and boot gaiters along with a nice little case to store it all in this is a win in my book and happy I got them

Great set at a great price. I have already had many days of fun stomping around in the snow. Get yourself a set and encourage your friends to do the same!

The snowshoes come in a compact storage bag with everything one needs to do proper winter hiking on snow or ice. They are lightweight yet built with good quality metal and plastic. It is easy to extend or contract the poles. I don't see any issue with it using for hiking or skiing. Cannot wait to try it on!

These were a gift to a friend. The friend reports they enjoyed them with the exception of difficulty tightening buckles. The gators, poles and bad were great additional values.

The Snow shoes come equipped with poles, gators and a heavy duty bag for carrying and storage. Easy to put on, and quick to adjust to my boots. Light enough for ease of travel but they seem well made.One thing I would prefer is a shoulder sling strap. We snowmobile, a shoulder strap would make for easier carrying on sleds.

I had formally left a 5 star review for the quality of the snowshoes. However, I am not at all impressed with the customer support. In my review I mentioned that there were a couple of issues I have ie with one of the poles and the strap. I was hoping the company would read my review and reach out. But, so far I haven't.Disappointed.
