This is exactly what I was looking for. As others have said, it feels a bit small but still fits my 17.5" jumping saddle. It may not fit my dressage saddle, but that's not what I bought it for. If you have a horse with high withers this is a great wilting pillow for them, especially for the price!.

CASH DISCLOSURE. This will NOT fit a 17" saddle. Very deceptive. It barely fit the 16 inch size and I ordered the largest size. Not only did I return the product, it took weeks to only receive a partial refund! They took a $17 restocking fee for a product they stated with inaccurate measurements. totally disappointing

Love it! I bought it because I have two very tough saddled horses. This added just enough padding to the bottom to keep it upright and not pinch the threads. It is fantastic quality and arrived very quickly. I would recommend purchasing a Shimmable Half Pad in addition to this pad to get the perfect fit. But the pillow alone does a fantastic job. I will buy/buy again.

These are good pads but should not be used in place of gel pads or memory foam pads. My young mare doesn't like it when she's tough, but my old gelding likes her. My old man has back pain but this pillow made him less sore. My only issue is that it's stiff, making it unsuitable for some horses. It gets less stiff with use but for my young horse I'm switching back to a mate.

I love this half pad! It fits my 17.5" saddle very well and is of very good quality, especially for the price. I've had it for almost a year now with almost no signs of wear. Other half pads in the same range are often thinner and don't do anything for the fit and comfort of the saddle so I like this one it also cleans well for the show ring but wears well in the grips Definitely happy with this purchase.

An excellent half lining for the price that offers reasonable comfort and eases the withers. I have a western style saddle that pinches my horses at the withers so I just slide it under the front and it works. Great. I also use this regularly with my English saddle when jumping for a bit more comfort. This pad looks expensive and is very soft. So far I haven't had any problems with cleaning, even when my horse wipes his nose on it! I love this pillow!

Love this half pad. It works well for the price; I really feel it softens my horse's back when I ride. It is ideal for horses with high withers such as Thoroughbreds or if you are working on creating a topline and your horse might appreciate the extra padding! However, it's a bit small. I have an 18" close contact saddle and it barely fits a 22" pad. I doubt it will fit a larger saddle size. Quality matches the price, but time will tell!

I bought this because I ride horses of different sizes and shapes that my saddle doesn't normally fit. It fits perfectly on your horse's back and also sits immediately in the saddle. Fits perfectly on my 17 inch saddle! (I bought size 19). It had no fleece at the withers as seen in the picture but the semi padding is still fantastic. Only came a few days.
