Conversion Kit to add auxiliary fuel tank to Honda EU 2200 i models may not fit.

Product was for Honda 2200 iU inverter.The oil plug & funnel were not a fit for my unit (threads were incorrect for my unit) apparently Honda changed their oil filling system and the mfg of the conversion parts not in the loop on this change.Will be returning my incorrect parts for credit. The buyers of Hondas newer version EU2200 i inverter may not match the conversion kit to add an auxiliary fuel tank to these models.

The good and the bad!

GOOD AND BAD!GOOD - The extension for draining oil works great. Before it was a mess pouring the old oil from the fill hole.BAD - The reason I purchased was for the extended run gas cap. Unfortunately the threads for the cap are too big. The cap does not seal like it should. With the extended run cap on gas leaks excessively. If I were to turn the generator on it’s side all the gas would leak out of the tank.I would not recommend this product at all.I did give three stars for the oil drain…

Magnet works great, Oil filler cap fit older Honda Inverter EU1000 exactly.

I wiped the magnet after 24 hours of inverter use and the paper towel had like a fine black covering from collecting fine metal from the oil. This also may have come from the cleaning action of the Seafoam that I am using on my older model Honda EU1000 in the oil (during use) and gas at each filling. The inconsistent idle sputtering has stopped. Only using a small amount of Seafoam by following the directions. My Honda Inverter is about 15 years old. There was like a small metal shaving on the…

Very useful for servicing Honda generator

This product is excellent for when I'm servicing my Honda generator because it alleviates making a huge mess when draining the old oil and installing the new and the dipstick allows for an accurate oil level check. Have not tried the fuel cap yet but I assume it will work as designed. These are quality made parts that will last forever!
