Great product great price

100 foot run to my outdoor gazebo and it works great. It replaces a much more expensive device and works better! Definitely recommended.

Great device. Works for games. Through!

Works as promised. No lag in games. The Ethernet powered receiver is a big plus. My distance was only 30-40 feet but the performance was just as strong as promised.

Successful connection between PC and wall mounted TV

After I changed my PC settings, the HDMI cable length in the wall was not long enough to connect to the computer. A simple female to female HDMI cable connector and a second longer HDMI cable resulted in my computer not being recognized by my Samsung TV. However, this HDMI extender gives me - after a bit of fiddling with EDID - a stable connection with a Cat 5E cable (about 15ft) - good results!

Not so fast!? Maybe you need a different power supply?

Advertised for efficient A/V transmission up to 196ft over Cat6 and POC cables - only one power cable required. I have a 35 foot run from the Roku box to the monitor. The image flickers and turns off intermittently. 2-3 minutes is fine. Then it goes off every 5-10 seconds. I will be ordering another power supply to attach to the RX end (which is advertised as not requiring a power supply). If this doesn't solve the problem, I'll send it back.

Suddenly stopped working

From the day I received this it has been working great. 100% satisfaction. Until yesterday when it suddenly stopped working. I've swapped out my monitor, I've swapped out the HDMI video source, I've swapped out the Ethernet cable for testing with a cable that's only 12 inches long, I've reset the EIDE, I've copied the EIDE multiple times and always am not yet receiving an HDMI signal from the RX side. Revain suggests contacting the manufacturer for warranty information, but the manufacturer is…

Does the job - after a little testing and tweaking

Invested in a new projector but needed a way to run a long connection to the receiver across the room without going through walls or ceiling and HDMI was not very practical for our situation (or looked). Enter these extenders that adapt the HDMI signal to and from Ethernet as described.
