It's so easy to use. I connected it to the camera and everything. The camera signal never breaks off. I used an ethernet cable about 100 feet long. Before using this device, the camera signal sometimes dropped. I've been using it for over a month with no problems.

Don't worry about expensive waterproof power strips. Instead, grab a cheap waterproof junction box. You'll save big and never have to worry about rain ruining your connection. I connected two 300ft Category 5 cables to this extender and the POE signal is excellent.

I'm giving one star because I can't post this review without a rating, but I'd give zero stars if I could. Died two hours after installation. It wasn't expensive so not worth paying money for postage to send it back. Another piece of crappy technology. It goes in the trash.

I ordered about 20 of these camera systems last year, half of them from this particular seller. About the same as a year ago. They are all low quality no matter who is selling them and in my experience about 50% will come off within the first month or so. Give it up if you replace them again soon. The problem is that I haven't found a better alternative. The higher quality products I've tried don't have much better replacement rates, they just look better and cost more to replace.

The first one I got was dead but my second one works. about a week so far and it's still working. On May 26, both extension cords stopped working. I thought my nozzle burned out and they both die. I bought 10 of these to extend the POE IP cameras an additional 200ft beyond 300ft. Only 500 feet. I installed them with no problems and all the cameras worked fine for 3 days. Then the first one broke. just died No weather, no lightning, no known cause. I replaced it and the other two failed 3 days later. I think I have to spend over 15€ to get a quality product.
