Poor quality USB socket. I use this USB 3.0 male to female cable to bring my Logitech Unifying receiver closer to my wireless keyboard and mouse. I bought two cables for two computers and the bottom part of the inside of the jack end was deformed in both cases: so much so that in one case I could barely plug in a merging receiver. The only thing that keeps these cables working is that I don't have to touch the cable after I connect each receiver (no re-plugging and unplugging).

I bought this to extend the external SSD on my PS4 so it can rest more easily. When I used this in combination with an SSD, the PS4 kept throwing corruption errors with the cable connected. When I unplug the cable the problems go away. Avoid this product if you're trying to do something like this. Update: Heat from the PS4 fan has been identified as the main cause causing issues with this cable. So if you are going to use a cable in these circumstances, be aware.

I don't know why laptop USB ports are on the left side when most people are right-handed. So when I need to connect a mouse to my laptop, the mouse cable isn't long enough and stretches across my back or rests on the keyboard. I found this short extension and it works great! This gives the mouse enough room to move comfortably without the hassle of cables. This one is well made and looks like it will probably last a long time.
