We have a Chromebook to replace our laptop and for some reason the printer needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled before it will work again when the USB cable is unplugged from the computer. The Chromebook only has 1 USB port so we tried leaving the mouse and printer plugged in so it wouldn't forget the printer and it worked!

I don't know why Amazon wants me to rate the "camera quality" for a USB hub. but this one isn't worth a dollar. Bought two school laptops for my kids (one USB port, some peripherals). One has a few dead ports. The other has all dead ports. Don't waste money.

Use as my iMac only has 3 port inputs and I have two hard drives along with a couple of lights and a couple of chargers that I need to access at all times. I liked how small and compact it is for the back of my computer and I didn't notice any lag or slowness/performance degradation at all. The thickness is as expected and the overall quality of the material is excellent, it seems to hold up well and last a long time.

I think what is misleading is that they have blue colored ports like a 3.0 port. It was entirely my fault for not investigating further, but I think presenting the product as is was wrong.

Product stopped working two months after purchase. It powers USB devices but my laptop doesn't recognize them. I get the error "The last USB device you connected to this computer is defective and is not recognized by Windows." Uninstalling and reinstalling the driver did not fix the problem. The devices work fine when plugged directly into the laptop's USB ports, so the hub is broken. I managed to verify this by buying a new hub from a different manufacturer and making sure it worked perfectly.
