Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

Joystick, lasted more than 5 years, was used with medium intensity. Sometimes it was necessary to eliminate excessive play in the sleeve. When it completely failed, I decided to try the Defender Cobra M5, but I came across two defective ones in a row, and took this one again. I do not regret it, especially since I would have to get used to the Cobra in a new way, it is completely different in its settings.

Pros
  • Comfortable in the hand. All buttons are conveniently located, both on the base and on the handle. A sufficient number of buttons on the base and on the handle. Excellent spring elasticity, good handling, you quickly get used to it. Friendly with calibration in Windows, does not require drivers, although they are available. The backlash that appears over time is easily eliminated.
Cons
  • Everything suits, the resistors would be enough for longer.

It is difficult to say anything about this joystick - it seems to be not bad, but at the same time bad. On the one hand, the joystick has a sufficient number of buttons, on the other hand, the buttons on the base are not comfortable to use. Most likely they were made taking into account the fact that 2 fingers will lie on them, and the thumb will control the thrust, however, pressing them in this position of the hand is uncomfortable (especially the next 2 buttons), and the thrust control will…

Pros
  • Pretty comfortable grip Stable, sticks well Joystick on the handle, which is configured as separate axes (does not work everywhere)
Cons
  • Button on the side of the handle (secondary fire) - when playing in the midst of a battle, it is often pressed by accident because it lies in the grip Starts to flicker quickly

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

I took it for Star Citizen, so having a twist in the handle was important. Joy is excellent for its money: the first one works flawlessly, after six months or a year the design starts to loosen up and accuracy is lost (as I understand it, due to the wear of the resistors that read the positions of the knob). Total: to try a great option for little money. If it does, then either golden hands or advanced models with Hall sensors.

Pros
  • Low price. The presence of a twist.
Cons
  • Small design resource.

I like the product very much, fully consistent with my expectations.

I've been using it for 3 or 4 years. Satisfied as a boa constrictor. Does not break, does not tupit, comfortable. The disadvantages are not big. This is not a top product, but the top of the middle segment. In my opinion, it's great. I specifically explain for Dmitry: I know that the yaw angle can be changed by rotating the joystick along the axis, but this is inconvenient. The joystick travel is too short and more precision is required when landing. Pilots do it with pedals, I want buttons on

Pros
  • Qualitatively made, reliable (no glitches, bugs). Excellent technical support, good service for all operating systems, description, feedback from the manufacturer. Lots of buttons. A wonderful mode with recoil (if you set it up correctly, the plane in IL 2 pecks a little even when dropping bombs, when you go into a tailspin in general PLAGUE!). Democratic price, one of the lowest for a full-fledged joystick with reverse thrust.
Cons
  • Suitable for right-handers only. A small throttle handle (I would like more hooks). There are no buttons to control the yaw angle (rudders on the tail). I don’t have pedals, so it’s difficult to simultaneously control the yaw angle on the clave and pull the throttle when landing. I would like buttons on the joystick for this. Not the smallest PSU, sometimes closes a nearby outlet.

Not particularly happy with it, but it's mostly okay.

It's amazing that for many years Logitech has not made anything new from joysticks and gamepads. During this time, many competitors have come out with much more advanced design and functionality. But so far nothing new has been planned. Even bug fixes. At least the handle had to be made at the rate of 165, so that the majority could use it, and not just overgrown ones. Both girls and boys.

Pros
  • Joystick is like a joystick. Primitive but works. Norm price. At one time, bought for a thousand.
Cons
  • Ergonomics not well thought out. The size under a person's arm is 180 cm+. For a person of 170 cm, the di-pad on the top of the handles simply cannot reach. The hand has to be torn off from the stand by almost a centimeter. There is a small backlash.

Think twice before you buy-the product is disgusting.

After calibration, after 5 minutes of use, you need to calibrate again and again and so on ad infinitum. The most miserable thing about this joe is a twist. Firstly, it often sticks. according to the indication, you won’t really achieve anything, it won’t work normally! Plus, the handle is very tight, after a half-hour flight, the hand becomes numb. In general, it’s possible to control some kind of arcade flying game. DCS is not suitable for a series of games at all, of course you can set it…

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • they cannot be controlled

A high-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

This is the most successful joystick in its price range, which I have ever held in my hands. Now I use it in Star Citizen as a strafe control knob, and for RUS I use Force. This one, although it is extremely similar to Extreme, is much worse both in terms of convenience and reliability. I perfectly understand why Logitech restarted its production. I would like to feel the new version and understand how it differs from my old one.

Pros
  • Virtually unkillable unless extreme measures are taken. Suitable for controlling everything that flies, from gliders in Microsoft Flight Sim 2022 to Star Citizen. I have been living with this joystick since childhood (from about 2022-2022, I don’t remember exactly), and only now I’m thinking about changing it to something more serious
Cons
  • A couple of buttons on the plane failed, apparently, a mechanical problem. They squeeze through, but with difficulty. Slightly strange sensations from the movements of the yaw axis, most likely due to the usual wear of parts.

I'm disappointed with my purchase, products are no good.

The infamous joystick. Therefore, the price is low. What is surprising is that they have been selling for many years, slightly improving the quality of resistors, but nothing more. If earlier the device rattled directly from the store so that it was impossible to aim or keep the plane on course, now these joysticks can hold out for a year, after which the rattle will also begin. Well, was it really so difficult to replace the resistors with other parts? To work for at least five years. No, it's

Pros
  • Ergonomics. Everything is really well thought out, it is convenient to hold with your hand, press the buttons.
Cons
  • Resistors.

It's fantastic and has been in the league for almost a decade.

For what it is, it's both fantastic and in a league of its own for almost a decade. This is a highly reliable, rugged, entry-level joystick. For a decade it was the only game in town if you wanted to buy a joystick under $150 because the top end of the market ignored that price point and the companies involved consistently did a poor job (Saitek and CH in particular). , never buy one of their wands, they are notorious for their serious problems). Since I started playing PC games almost 2…

Logitech vs. Thrustmaster in Star Citizen: Arena Commander

This test compares Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick and Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick specifically in the context of Star Citizen: Arena Commander. At this stage of Star Citizen's development, I would advise against buying joysticks or HOTAS (Hands on Throttle and Joystick). The keyboard and mouse are now more fully optimized. You can steer and dogfight more precisely with a mouse than with a stick. However, they are working to make sticks and full HOTAS settings a better option…

Great for flying

I had a similar product a long time ago. The Logitech Wingman Extreme, which was $50 when I bought it. I've played Star Wars Rogue Squadron for many hours. Then I forgot about PC games for more than ten years. Recently my interest in gaming was renewed, so I built a new machine and amassed a sizeable Steam library. Gaming has come a long way since my old wingman I lost somewhere along the way. I've played a few games where you have a flight segment or multiple missions, but nothing like Rogue…
