64 ounces up. - Food Storage

I was disappointed to find that it was only 64 ounces when you filled it to the brim. Most containers such as liter cans etc leave room for air space at the top. I bought them specifically to sell 1/2 gallon honey. I can't fill it to the brim and then cover with a lid or it's an instant mess after removing the lid. I think my only option is to sell them in 48 ounce honey containers.

You need this if you have an Instant Pot!

They're great for freezing leftovers or reheating food in the Instant Pot. Simply place a gallon bag of Glad Freezer in the Reditainer, fill with food, then place the Reditainer in the freezer. When the food is frozen, remove the bag from the Reditainer (be sure to label the bag with the date and the contents of the bag). I can pack more frozen food in the freezer if I freeze it in bags instead of directly in the container.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Has been damaged

The best freezer containers!

I like it very much. They are excellent for freezing food. I usually put food inside, cover with cling film where it will contact the food and the walls of the container. Then I'll cover with foil and a lid. Everything was perfectly preserved, never cracked in the freezer. They clean up great in the DW upper basket. The only reason I ever order more is because I never get them back from my kids when I bring them food! You love her too.

Pros
  • Robust surface
Cons
  • Without automatic control

Great Freezer Containers for the Instant Pot!

I bought these for a very specific purpose. I use them to make frozen meals that fit in my Instant Pot. I put a gallon freezer bag in and use it to shape it properly. No more flat bags. It takes up more freezer space, maybe a little, but being able to pop everything into an instant pot in a slow cooker without defrosting saves so much time the freezer space is negligible. Talk about saving time. When the time comes when I need more, I will buy again.

Amazing durability - kitchen and dining room

I've been using these containers for over a year now. I have 56 of these 64 ounces. Container. Within 1+ years I had 2 cracks on the lids. They are extremely durable. They spend months in the freezer and then go through the dishwasher. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a strong, durable freezer container. EDIT: Another year has passed and maybe 3 of the 48 lids I own have cracked on the sides. They still work and I haven't thrown any of them away. However, I highly recommend…

Great for InstantPot

I bought these specifically for my InstantPot. I can take a container of soup from the freezer, dip the bottom and sides in hot water for 30 seconds, and the frozen soup slides straight into the IP to reheat. I bought the first set in 2015 and the second set in 2017 and they hold up to regular use. Considering I cook 95% of our meals and these containers get a lot of use, I'm very happy with their longevity. I lost a few containers in a burglary, but overall I'm very happy - and am now ordering

Bought for frozen food

I bought these to use with an electric pressure cooker. I like to cook meals and make frozen meals every few weeks. They work great and are durable. I found them a bit small for a size 4 serving - I just couldn't get the meat and liquid into the container without using the plastic bag inside. I don't want to waste an extra bag so I order the next size up. Great for small meals. I've had no trouble cracking open containers and putting them in the dishwasher. We used tape on the lid to mark the…

We need another set in 6 years.

We bought these in June 2014 and now we have 4 sets left... 7 containers but only 4 lids. We've only used them for homemade ice cream and they've held up well, but they're not the strongest of containers and the lids are leak-proof making it easy to damage trying to remove them. They take up a little more space in the freezer because they're round, but ice cream is harder to pull out when the container is square. We liked them so much we bought another set right away, although finding just the…

The solution to sticky buckets!

After reading the reviews I was a little apprehensive about buying this. It took several buckets to make ice for our razor and they looked perfect. But other reviews have been full of horror stories about some of the buckets sticking together. Got mine and all the buckets came out fine except for two. So here's the thing: if you've ever had 5-gallon buckets stacked inside each other like HD's, it's a SUCTION that makes these damn things difficult to separate. For example, imagine a large…
