This anchor is perfect for my 24ft pontoon boat

This anchor is perfect for my 24ft pontoon boat. I use it all the time on the lake and it hasn't lost traction even in the wind.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Only need one anchor

It's great that I only have to use one anchor to secure my boat in high winds. It's a little heavy, but it's what it takes to get the job done. I thought I would have to buy a second one for my new boat but this one seems to be working great.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I'll write back later

Lake Bottom Hold Power

Was skeptical because my lake has ABSOLUTELY nothing to hold on to. no debris, rocks or anything, just dirt. A 23ft Triton so there is some weight and the boat acts like a sail. It had excellent holding power even in high winds, which was a pleasant surprise.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Having problems

The best anchor for an electric winch.

Works very well with the Minnkota Deckhand 40 windlass. It has a longer shaft and a good angle so it actually lines up in the stowed position. However, the base is heavy enough to allow the anchor to drop by itself on winch command.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not sure

Holds best in tow bars and winches

I use this when I go to the lake to stand in three feet of water and drink from the stern of my boat. An anchor was already there, but a light wind rocked the boat. Got it and no longer have this problem with this one in the back and another anchor in the front. Works like a charm for my 20ft runabout.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Works with MinnKota Deckhand 40 windlass

Windlass Anchor shackle will not fit through anchor eyelet. The solution is to remove the shackle from the end of the chain, thread the chain through the anchor eyelet, then attach the anchor shackle to the chain and the end link of the chain, forming a chain loop that goes through the anchor eyelet. I hope the photo helps illustrate this.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

good anchor. for hitches

Pulls out 24" tee like a champ. Durable and works well. Large. I had a 3/8" swivel and it was tight; I had to bend it a bit I used the smaller one for the chain to tie but use 3/8 or more for the top of this one, it's big too wide for a 5 gallon bucket so I need a new onion storage idea.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Got it

Good anchor for outdoor accessories

Just bought an 18 lb model for use on the river we pontoon on. The bottom is very soft and muddy, you easily fall 10 inches while standing on it. I've only used it once but this anchor has a good grip and will last. It's a river, so there's always a current, and there was a decent wind, and we weren't drifting like we used to. (Note for reference - this is a 24" pontoon boat and I am using an 18lb anchor at the bow and stern). It had a few small dents when it arrived, but I don't mind. I love…

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • No instructions
