The separation of egg white and yolk often causes persistent neck pain. So I tested FOUR different egg separators. This is the ONE that works stably. Hold it parallel to the work surface and keep it moist between eggs (I spray it with distilled water a bit) and it works great and allows me to cook lots of eggs FAST.

This egg separator works as it should. My only problem is that a couple of times when I try to separate the egg white, the yolk gets stuck between the metal rows and breaks. I've found that all I have to do is tilt the separator a little (instead of shaking it slightly) and the whites fall right off without breaking the yolks.

This egg separator works after a small modification. In the middle is the end of the wire. The ones I received warped slightly, causing the yolk to sometimes stick and break. After bending the piece down with pliers, it works great. I am satisfied with the modification and the result. I used this at least once a day for my meals. And on many eggs (yolks) on certain desserts. That saves time. Don't worry about broken eggshell pieces trying to separate the egg with the shell.
