I really like the concept here but it's poorly executed. If you happen to get one that works, I would assume it works fine. However, the one I received had quite a big gap in the middle of the rings. This allows the yolk to slide right into the bowl below. When it didn't, two of the three eggs I tried to split had the yolk pierced with the end of the wire, which is in the dead center of the round and concentric rings. This meant I had an egg emergency, preventing the yolk from dripping into the egg white underneath. This definitely led to me removing it and manually resolving it at this point. It just took more work than necessary. I wanted to like this product. I tried very hard to please. But in the end I returned it.
