This is the part you need for HP Mobo

. For anyone who has an HP mobo with proprietary 18 pin crap, this is what you need to run a real power supply. This saved me so much time on a new assembly. Recommend this family business enough.

The adapter can be critical

I recently bought a computer that I wanted to upgrade with a new PSU and GPU but the PSU had a 20+4 pin connector and the CPU failed don't turn on. . I bought this adapter and basically everything worked right away!

Doesn't work with my HP Z210. but Eyeboot are real professionals!

The people at Eyeboot are true professionals! This adapter is very well made. I bought it last November and it worked for 4 months on my HP Z210 and then failed. I don't think it's the cables, it's because I tried to put too many add-in cards into the Z210 and it couldn't accept them. Eyeboot refunded my purchase price easily and were very accommodating. No love for branded HP PSUs on my part!

I also tested it on an EVGA 500W Bronze Block and it worked fine.

Fits HP Z230 Tower Workstation. I was able to replace the stock HP 400W PSU with a Thermaltake 650W PSU to power an AMD R9 290 GPU. I also tested it on an EVGA 500W Bronze PSU and it worked flawlessly.

This is the part you need for HP Mobo

To anyone who has an HP Mobo with patented 18 pin crap this is what you need to get it working with a real power supply that saved me sooo much time in the new build. Cannot recommend this family run business enough.
