Works with Gigabyte z390 3-pin DRGB connector

Removing old heatsinks accounts for 90% of the installation. I used a credit card to separate an old RAM heatsink. The kit includes a screwdriver and additional screws. A very nice touch. The RGB Fusion app (Gigabyte z390) controls the lighting and has multiple effects to choose from. I suspect the embedded controller/remote version will offer more modes. I had to calibrate the light through the Gigabytes app. It was easy and only required 3 clicks. The LEDs are very bright. The diffuser copes…

The LEDs failed after just a few days

I use the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro on my main gaming PC and I really like them. However, I needed a solution for my dual Xeon Linux server and that's where these RGB heatsinks come in handy. For this server I have ECC DDR4 memory which you cannot get RGB presets for. Since there are also no RGB connectors on the server boards, I had to buy an ASUS ROG terminal, which I connected to my Windows PC with a USB cable, alongside it with the ASUS AURA software (I know the Linux Version of the…

Mine don't even light up. I have something that might work, but if it doesn't work I'll be compensated. Update: They sent me a new RGB controller heatsink kit for free and it works great. and looks great. My only concern is that the color accuracy isn't the best, so I had to change the color from purple to teal. It looks best in bright light. New update: after lying around for about a month they appear to have died. They won't turn on, which could be a controller issue, but I believe that's…

I bought 2 packs of these RAM coolers. One of these was broken and the LEDs didn't work, the other worked and the LEDs were very bright and very pretty. I'm in the process of returning a defective part and replacing it (Revain usually makes this very easy). Installation was very easy, but I've done similar installations before. There are NO INSTRUCTIONS and it would be very difficult for a beginner. If you forget to remove the plastic from the thermal paste, you risk ruining your RAM entirely…
