Fits very tightly to PS5. They basically make it fit

Due to the groove, this heatsink is 9mm taller than advertised so it really fits my PS5 snugly. The top barley goes on my PS5 it's no good, I returned this heatsink and got a MHQJRH heatsink and it fits like a glove. The PS5 SSD cover was sticking up and I literally had to push on the cover to screw it in, I don't like that.

Pros
  • Nice looks
Cons
  • Operating speed

Ideal Heatsink for PS5 NVMe

I am very satisfied with the quality of this radiator. I installed it on my WD SN850 and it fits my PS5 perfectly. The PS5 tested the drive at 6600MB/s, which is what I expected. I recommend installing it so that the EZ logo is at the end of the drive slot as shown in the product image and not toward the other slot. Disc. It comes with a Phillips screwdriver, but I highly recommend using your own as it's too small for the screws and if you're not careful you can easily snap them off. Otherwise…

Pros
  • Aluminum alloy groove design, double-sided cooling design greatly increases the heat dissipation area, with a cooling effect of 10-30°C (depending on the environment), cools the M.2 SSD to a safe temperature to prevent overheating and throttling and the increase your computer's performance.
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Does what it's supposed to do

This product effectively cooled my ADATA XPG SX8100 2TB NVMe M.2 drive. The ADATA XPG includes a heatsink, but it's just a piece of plastic (as far as I can tell) with double-sided tape attached. This bad heatsink caused my drive to throttle in temperatures above 70 degrees. After installing this new EZDIY FAB heatsink, the hard drive temperature dropped significantly. My temperature is 30-45 degrees all the time. Installing this radiator was not difficult. Installed in 5 minutes. The most…

Difficult to install with included pads and does not cool well

I have multiple double-sided M.2 2280 NVME SSDs (one Gen 4x4, one Gen 3x4). Gen 4 works with Sabrent heatsink, Gen 3 currently works with this heatsink. Both have good airflow so that shouldn't be a problem. When benchmarking, the Sabrent tops out at around 48°C, while the EZDIY-FAB tops out at 55°C (and that's with the ultra-high performance thermal pad I had to use instead of the stock one). So about 7 degrees temperature gradient. However, because the Sabrent is fourth generation and much…
