Good in theory. The idea of being able to twist the coax connection is attractive as I don't have the tool used on the other ends. These ports are too big to actually do what they promise. I have two boxes of 500 foot coax cable and those ends don't match either. They don't bite into anything to stay connected, so just pull on them and they'll disengage. I borrowed a crisping tool from a friend and went this route instead.

Definitely not screwable. Tried several times and nothing. I ended up adding tape around the cable cord and then putting it on. Then tape and string over it to hold it in place. It worked. I didn't want to buy a compression tool for just one room so I bought these. It was cheap but messy, it wasn't as advertised. Buyer Warning. Just in case anyone was curious, this is a cable supplied by a cable company, so this is the cable intended for that "screw-on" adapter.

These connectors were easy to install without any special crimping tools. It was well suited for cable jacket/sleeve. I snipped a few inches off the cable to get rid of the rusted wire that was exposed to the elements, trimmed the end, folded back the braided shield and screwed it on properly, being careful not to let the shield strands touch the center conductor .
