I bought this product to shave my legs. I have a terrible problem with ingrown hairs and my research says I need to exfoliate and moisturize my skin frequently and also shave "with my hair" rather than against it like most people do with their feet. I wasn't happy with regular disposable razors and figured maybe learning to use a straight razor would be better for me in the long run. Thought I was being careful but still managed to cut the first leg pretty badly. The second was a little better.

I use it but not very happy with it. The blade does not go directly into razors (shavettes). One side of the blade is higher (further away) than the other side. So I need to use something soft to push the top down. Also, the blade is about 1mm more exposed than any of my other razors. Razors are not sharp. I shave about half every razor. I can get about 2 shaves from the other 5 or 7 brands I own. This is not a shavetta for beginners.

First of all when it said the handle is plastic I thought hard plastic, it feels strong and I think it will last a long time. However, it is spongy, when you squeeze the grip there is a lot of give. I disassembled the previous shavette to replace the blade, which slides out. The blades are very easy to change but you have to be careful how you shave, they are mounted in the handle but they can slip, as long as you keep that in mind you won't have a problem. I love the idea of using this razor to shave. It's sustainable, think about it, you're not throwing away tiny bits of dangerous sharp plastic every other day. I've only had it for a few days but I'll get used to it 😁 then I'll smile like the little guy. Seriously why did we even start using safety razors they will all cut you if you are not careful.
