Great switch for RV parts and accessories

Great switch but I installed it in the sleeping area of my van and the light is too bright I just covered most of it with tape.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Fried on the test. Best in Power and Electrical Engineering

Will be using this in my school renovation. During my testing, it fried! Too bad because I really wanted to use this and have subtle switches.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Ease of maintainability

No Dimming: Interior Lights

I did a temporary setup with jumpers, I can turn the LEDs on and off but not dim them. So I took another type of dimmer and made jumpers and it worked fine. So this switch is not working properly. Back for a replacement, let's see if the next one works.

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • Some Trouble

Very small and efficient!

I use them in a bespoke caravan and they are perfect! The wiring is 12V and you must have a separate ground for the input and output side for all functions to work. The memory for the dimming function is excellent; just one touch and the light comes on with the same brightness, another touch and the light goes off.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I ordered two and both were disappointing.

I test installed both switches I ordered to make sure one isn't broken. both acted the same. I planned on using them on a 3/4" oak board. The switch turned the light on and off. But it also turned on and off on its own. I couldn't get any of them to dim the light. Me send the switches back.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • No automation

Works well: Power and Electricity

When I originally tested this dimmer with a 15W power supply, it didn't work properly at all: completely random dimming, turning on and off. However when I used a 60w power supply and a load (about 45w led strip) it worked as intended. This dimmer controls the LED strips that illuminate the eight shelves of the built-in bookshelf. It was easy to install by drilling the right size hole and connecting the wires to the power supply and LEDs. It looks small and unobtrusive, but is easily…

  • Practicality

Died less than a year ago

I want it to be fun, but I also want it to work and keep working. I use this on my desk for LED strip lighting and it was a pleasure just touching the corner of the desk. I've never been able to get dimmer functionality and while that would have been nice, I didn't really care. After about 8-9 months I noticed the lights came on in the mornings and finally noticed that they came on in their places. own. After about 11-12 months it completely broke where it turns on again about 3-5 seconds after

This is genius! Best in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

I'm an Electrician in Southern California and I'm a constant installer of custom LED lighting. One of my clients wanted side lit mirrors but they needed them to match "their bathroom theme" which was obviously ranch/southwest style as you can see in the picture. Hi Carpenter, my friend made the frames and installed the mirrors so I had room to install an ultra thin LED strip and we used these switches that installed in the bottom corners of the mirror frame. They work exactly as described…

  • Free for Educational Purposes

  • Big and Bulky

Works great with LED strips On/Off/Dim

I was a little nervous about buying this dimmer as there were no reviews at the time. However, once I received and installed the dimmer (a round plastic direct touch version) I couldn't be happier. Finally ordered a second one! The dimmer is solidly designed for the plastic part. In practice, press to turn on/off and touch and hold to increase or decrease the brightness. To change direction, remove your finger and place it on the dimmer to change direction. The dimming level is saved, so if you
